TIFFANY WADE, INTERIM PRESIDENT

Intergrated Marketing Expert

Hailing from Canton, OH, Tiffany Wade, started her media journey over 7 years ago as an Account Coordinator with Spectrum Reach. Exceling within the AC role, she was promoted to Account Planner within a year, while simultaneously receiving her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Using her years of media planning knowledge, she transitioned to a National Sales Planner role with Comcast and became known for her innovative and strategic planning along with a can-do attitude.

Tiffany embarked on her leadership journey when she accepted a role as Regional Media Planning Supervisor and in her most recent role as Associate Director of Integrated Planning with EssenceMediacom. In her spare time, Tiffany is passionate about uplifting others and serving her community and is currently serves as an Executive Board Member on BLEND, the EssenceMediacom ERG catering toward Black and LatinX talent, a SE Committee Co-chair, and Mentor in She Runs It, serving on the Board of Directors on the NAMIC Atlanta Chapter, and a Girl Scout Troop Leader/Treasurer.

Production Infrastructure and Operations Expert

Akura Marshall-Smith is a transformation strategist, media operations expert, and change leader with a unique journey that spans continents and industries. A proud military brat who grew up in Germany, Akura developed a global perspective early in life—an outlook that continues to shape her empathetic and forward-thinking leadership style. She studied Communications at Bowie State University, where she landed a life-changing internship at Black Entertainment Television (BET). That opportunity launched her career while she was still a senior, setting the stage for over 15 years of success across some of the world’s most influential media companies, including Warner Bros. Discovery, CBS, Viacom, A+E Networks, and others.

Akura is known for designing human-centered systems, leading cross-functional teams, and embedding sustainable change across creative, technical, and executive environments. Whether she's building post-production infrastructures, integrating AI into workflows, or mentoring the next generation of industry professionals, she brings empathy, structure, and innovation to everything she does.

As Vice President of NAMIC Atlanta, Akura is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity, and innovation in media and communications, ensuring that the industry's future reflects the brilliance and stories of all communities.

MORRIS MEGA, TREASURER

Sales Account Management Specialist , Comcast

Morris Mega is a dynamic telecommunications professional making an impact at Comcast NBCUniversal’s National Headquarters. Since joining the company in 2021, he has consistently demonstrated excellence, earning accolades such as Major Impact Player (Q1 2022) and Top Xfinity Mobile Seller (Q4 2024). As a Sales Account Management Specialist, Morris masterfully implements Save & Sell strategies, delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving success across multiple touchpoints.

A natural leader and mentor, Morris is dedicated to uplifting others. Through the Peer Assisted Leader (PAL) program, he inspires and develops new talent, while his daily new-hire workshops equip colleagues for success. He is deeply involved in fostering an inclusive workplace as an active member of Comcast’s employee networks, including NAMIC Atlanta, Indigenous, Young Professionals Network, and the Black Employee Network. His recent transition to National Headquarters has further amplified his ability to influence and support teams across the organization.

Morris’s academic achievements include a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia State University (2018), and he is set to pursue an M.S. in Cybersecurity at the University of Arizona in Spring 2025. A proud Nigerian-American born in Marietta, GA, Morris is fueled by his faith, family, culture, and an unwavering commitment to professional growth.

Beyond the office, Morris enjoys cheering for Atlanta’s sports teams, exploring new cuisines, traveling, and diving into thought-provoking podcasts. His multifaceted passions and drive to excel make him a valued leader within the NAMIC Atlanta community and beyond.

Charles Neal is a seasoned consultant and leader in the Media, Telecom, and Publishing sectors, specializing in driving technology implementation and innovation. With a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach, Charles leverages his extensive background in management, program leadership, and wireless design to deliver impactful solutions for complex challenges in the communications industry. His ability to bridge business objectives with technical expertise ensures successful project outcomes and long-term organizational value.

An alumnus of Morgan State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Charles combines analytical rigor with creative problem-solving. Beyond his professional pursuits, Charles is a dedicated husband and father. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, diving into thought-provoking books, honing his chess strategy, practicing martial arts, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
